HOW TO REACH US
As our name says, we are two strides from the sea and from the city centre
It is really a pleasant experience to walk in the neighbourhood of our b&B.... you can buy your newspaper , you can taste a typical sicilian drink in the "chiosco" ( a characteristic place in the street where you can buy special "street-drinks "), or you can can go for a walk besides the sea ( it is just 150 metres far away about) , sit and look at the sea or swim.
If you are a sporty people you can do jogging, if you ,on the opposite , like relaxing there is the Daily Spa and Wellness Profumia .... and for your breakfast what is better than an icecream with " brioche" : an unique enjoyment in a terrace on the sea!For you lunch or dinner you can choose among various restaurants, "pizzerie", pubs , all places wher you are going to taste the best sicilian foods : fish, vegetables, but also "arancini", and don't forget our pastries: "cannoli or cassata or a lot of several other pastries ...
Our B&b is also near to the main elegant shopping streets as Corso Italia, Via Monfalcone. In the evening you can enjoy a good movie.
By public bus you can reach in 3/4 stops Via Etnea, Piazza Duomo, the greek.roman Theatre.
HOW TO REACH US
By bus: From Catania airport, Fontanarossa (6 km), the city bus 457 is a direct service, get off at Piazza Stesicoro and take the 935 or 830 - both go to Piazza S. M. della Guardia. Number 268 is at the beginning Via Messina, one of the streets leaving the piazza. The bus ticket costs 1 euro and is valid for 90 min.
By train: We are about 700 m from the train station. Take bus 830 or 935 in Via Etnea and get off at Piazza S. M. della Guardia or bus 443 which stops in Piazza Europa, from there take Via Messina and stop at number 268
By car: Exit the motorway at the San Gregorio toll station, and follow directions for Catania Centro. Parking: throughout the neighbourhood you can find free parking or pay parking in blue zones with parking meters, from 8.30 to 13.00 and from 15.30 to 20.00. Sunday and public holidays are free
